Rich is thirty years young and Colorado through and through. He grew up in a family where the best stories arrived late — usually at a kitchen table, usually from someone who assumed there would always be more time to tell them. When that time ran out, what stayed behind wasn't a photo album. It was a list of questions nobody could answer anymore.

That gap shaped his work. He spent his twenties in and out of technology, and kept coming back to the same idea: reminiscence and life-story work have comforted people for generations, but the tools around them never really caught up. An Honest Voyage is his attempt to modernize something old and human — bringing a place a person loved back to the bedside, then giving the family a way to keep what gets said next.

"I started this because I watched a generation of stories go quiet, and I couldn't get them back. I can't change that. What I can do is make sure the next family gets one more good afternoon — a shoreline, a mountain road, a street someone grew up on — and a recording of what it stirred up."
